About Us
Tinas Plants & Such
We're a small retail nursery located in our backyard in Georgetown , Ky.
We specialize mostly in native plants. We carry some local provenance. The majority of the plants are propagated on site by seeds, cuttings or division. We do not advocate wild digging. We may however have rescued plants.
We also grow a variety of heirloom tomatoes and peppers. Some heirloom annuals and a variety of herbs both medicinal and culinary.
We are open by appointment and some Saturdays' depending on weather. We also offer porch pick up, which is favored by busy people.
We hopefully will soon be offering some items made from recycled trees. We are looking forward to branching out in that area.
We are both retired and this is our 'staying active' business.
We are not a certified organic nursey but we believe in organic and do not use chemicals in our plants. Our plants are grown organically.
